Mehrangarh Fort was built by the Rathore Rajputs in the 15th century. The founder of the fort was Rao Jodha, who was the chief of the Rathore clan. The Sariska Tiger Reserve, situated in Rajasthan's Alwar district, holds significant importance as a state-level national park. The history of the Nagaur fort dates back to around 4th century BC when it was founded by the Nag Kshatriyas. The Fort is also known as the Ahhichatragarh Fort which means Fort of the Hooded Cobra. The Nagaur Fort, part of it was restored and converted into a hotel, is of historical importance and played a major part during the Muslim invasion from Central Asia.
