• Dudhsagar Falls, Goa: One of the most iconic waterfalls in the Western Ghats, Dudhsagar Falls, translates to "Sea of Milk" in English. The falls resemble a curtain of milk as water plunges from a height of over 300 meters. The surrounding lush forests add to the enchantment, making it a sight to behold. 
• Jog Falls, Karnataka: Jog Falls is the highest plunge waterfall in India, and during the monsoon, it transforms into a breathtaking sight as the Sharavathi River leaps from a height of around 830 feet. The cascading water creates a mesmerizing display of power and beauty against the lush backdrop. 
• Amboli Falls, Maharashtra: Tucked away in the lush Amboli Ghat of Maharashtra, Amboli Falls is a hidden gem that comes alive during the monsoon. The falls plunge down a rocky cliff, surrounded by mist-covered hills and dense forests, creating an otherworldly atmosphere. 

While chasing waterfalls in the Western Ghats during the monsoon is a thrilling experience, it's important to prioritize safety. Always check weather conditions and local guidelines before visiting. The terrain can get slippery, so wear appropriate footwear and exercise caution.
